2022 World Cup will be played in Summer
Ending the speculation FIFA president Sepp Blatter has given indications that FIFA world cup 2022 that will be held in Qatar will be played in summer.
He previously have said that the final might be stage in January due to the harsh climate of Qatar in summers and tournament dates have to be scheduled accordingly. It has been a tradition that FIFA word cup has always been played in summer and football commentators and officials have been debating on the fact that this might not be possible under climate conditions of Qatar. Temperature usually rise to 40C or more.
Blatter told the BBC: “I think for the time being the matter is on ice. Everything is settled for summer.”
