Adebayor on fire as City brushed aside Lech Poznan

Adebayor scored a wonderful hat-trick as Manchester City beats Lech Poznan 3-1.

Former Togo international struck Manchester City’s first hat-trick in Europe as Roberto Mancini’s side proved to be much stronger for the Polish side.

Big striker opened the scoring in the 12th minute when received the ball from Patrick Vieira’s and puts it into the net with a clinical finish. He added another in the 23rd minute when he scored from his best attribute his header from 12 yards.

Lech Poznan did manage to pull back one goal in the second half when City poorly defended the ball and Joel Tshibamba scored through volley. Adebayor then wrapped up the proceeding for the visitors when he scored his hat-trick goal in 73rd minute through David Silva’s ball.

After the victory Manchester City moved onto the first spot over Poznan in Group A.
