Chelsea agree £7m deal for Gary Cahill

Injury hit Chelsea have agreed a fee of around 7million for he Bolton’s English defender Gary Cahill.

Chelsea having big problems at the back and Andre Villas-Boas has stepped forward and agree to sign Bolton’s central half Gary Cahill.

Owen Coyle will have more problems after the first choice central back as his side is currently at the 19th position on the league table.

Coyle said: “The situation is that the clubs, Bolton Wanderers and Chelsea, have at this moment in time agreed a fee for Gary (Cahill),”

“Now it is up to Gary’s representatives to speak to Chelsea,”

“From our part, I’ve said to Gary that this is why he has representatives and that his focus is on football and football only,”

“Gary’s mind will on making sure that he is ready to give a big performance for Bolton Wanderers against Wolves. He has to be ready to give everything, as he always is.”

Chelsea are also looking forward to sign Porto winger Hulk to maximize their midfield options.
