'I am happy in Palermo', said Pastore

Palermo president Maurizio Zamparini has confirmed that lots of big clubs are chasing Javier Pastore, but still confident of keeping him attest for another year.

The 21-year-old Argentine international is attracting big clubs through his stunning performance. It is reported that clubs like Barcelona, Real Madrid, Chelsea and Manchester United are trying their best to attract him.

‘People talk, the big clubs are looking around, but it’s not just Barcelona interested, Manchester United, Chelsea and Real Madrid too. Carlo Ancelotti has always liked Pastore ever since he was at Milan. He wanted him there, but we got him instead.’,  Zamparini told Stadionews.it.

‘In any case, I have spoken with his agent and he thinks it’s best for Pastore to stay at Palermo for another year for his own development, and I agree with this.’

Javier Pastore has also confirmed that he’s happy at the club.

He said: ‘I am happy in Palermo. I don’t know what will happen in the future. But, at the moment it looks like I will be staying.’
